1—- Visit Clock Tower in Konak square in the city centre,
2—- Eat kumru sandwich some where on the bay (Bostanli, Inciralti, Pasaport)
3—- Take a ferry from city centre to explore other side of the city. Karsiyaka and Bostanli
4—- Go to Kucukpark in Bornova to listen some live rock bands and experience student atmosphere… :)
5—- Watch the sunset and feel the warm winds towards your face at Izmir bay.
6—- Eat MIDYE( sea mussel-shell with rice) on the grasses of Kordon.
7—- visit Seljuk,Ephesus and Sirince and taste Sirince fruit wines.
8—- Visit “Kadifekale”, but do not forget your camera! The view is fantastic!
9—- Taste ice-cream in “Tatlıcı Mennan” in Kızlarağası
10—- Visit “Kızlarağası” and drink “dibek kahvesi” with a turkish delight.
11—- Check the second floor of “Kızlarağası”, there are many antique shops.
12—- Eat “boyoz” in the morning as a breakfast and also try to eat in the middle of the night in front of Bornova, Migros. But do not forget, you have to wait in a long queue to have it.
13—- Eat “gevrek”, it’s also known as “simit” in the other parts of Turkey. But the Izmir’s gevrek is a little bit diffirent. Try it with Izmir’s cheese, “tulum peyniri”.
14—- If it’s summer, try melon.
15—- Izmir has fresh vegetables and fruits. Find a market place and see the variety. Maybe you can cook something or maybe there is something you haven’t seen before…
16—- Walk from “Konak Square” to “Kemeraltı”, do not follow the crowded, find your own way! You can discover new streets. Kemeraltı is not just a bazaar, it’s history of Izmir. Between new fashion and old culture.. You can find a coffee shop which is older than 50years or a pair of fake converse which looks like totally similar with original one or a building where you can find antiques..
17—- Walk from “Konak Square” to “Varyant”. You can take a bus too, but there are lots of worth seeing old houses which you can discover on foot. In Varyant, there is a coffe shop, where you can take break and enjoy the Izmir view.
18—- Enjoy the sunset in “Tarihi Asansör”. Also you can have your dinner there, it’s also a restaurant.
19—- Taste “Izmir Kofte”.
20—- Next to “Güzelbahçe Balık Hali” there is a small kiosk where you can eat fish and bread, you should be there before 19.00 if you want to try. It’s near seaside, so in the winter a little bit cold. Enjoy your food with a peaceful atmosphere.
21—- Just sit on the bench and watch beautiful and colorful people of Izmir. Meet with your friends in front of Sevinc Patisserie. Walk trough Kıbris Sehitleri Street.
22—- Go to Teleferik, Balcova. It is a cable car takes you up on a hill where u can have a picnic there and breath fresh air. (not in use since couple of years.)
23—- According to history, one of the first spa and health centre in age is in Agamemnon, Izmir. Balcova thermal hotel is a good choice for spa&wellness, health, thermal spring and cure.
24—- You can taste and buy some dry figs, Turkish delights, olives, olive oils as souvenir.
25—- You can enjoy sitting on the grass springs and summers and have your drinks while you are chatting and singing with your friends or love.
26—- Go to Alaçatı at ‘çeşme’ district for windsurf…

48—- i would try ice-cream at Bornova-Elit, home-made baklava with almond at Bornova-Evim, “tahinli pide” (turkish pizza with tahini) at Dinc Pide in Bornova, turkish dish foods in Bornova at Sevim Lokantasi or Baki Usta, and doner kebap at Can or Ali Paşa in Kemeralti.

50—- Visiting Space Camp Turkey in Aegean Free Zone Area-Gaziemir.
51—- go to “Tarihi Havagazi Fabrikasi”, or shortly havagazi, to enjoy an evening with live music on the grass in open-air when it is the season, and one evening for latin dance inside the covered area.

57—- Catch a sunny and non windy day on winter time, on january or february, then reach to ilica beach - cesme, enjoy the white sand, blue sea and swim in the warm water.

59—- Walk in ” Sevgili yolu ” and enjoy eating a Kumpir menu, where a lot of shops are selling it, they all sell it for the same price, so just choose a one and Afiyet olsun :)
60—- Visit A Musum located just 200 meter to Alsancak port, as far as I remember, it was an old house that “ATATURK” lived in, and it is extremely amazaing !
